Dana has been with Shooniyaa Wa-Biitong since 2011, at which time she organized the implementation of the Anokiiwin Job Connect database and website.
Dana brings 10 years of human resources experience, to the job, having earned a Post-Secondary degree in the field. She has also been an instructor for a number of post-secondary education courses as well as various workshops. Prior to her current position, with Shooniyaa Wa-Biitong, Dana was employed with Seven Generations Education Institute as an Academic Support Coordinator, working within the Post-Secondary, Essential Skills and Apprenticeship Programs.
Dana is passionate about supporting people and helping them to realize and achieve their career goals. She is especially talented at writing resumes and creating cover letters that best capture an individual's full potential.
Aside from aiding job seekers, Dana also supports organizations and employers directly by creating job descriptions, screening application packages, and sitting on the panel of interviewers during the selection process.
When it comes to matching qualified individuals to the right job, and ensuring that both job seekers and employers are happy, Dana is there to streamline the process for the best possible outcome.
Dana is located at the Anokiiwin Office of Shooniyaa Wa-Biitong, in downtown Fort Frances and is happy to support Treaty #3 clients, and area employers.
