Part-time

The Copper River Inn is looking for one or more professional and outgoing individuals to provide exceptional customer service as a Front Desk Agent. The successful candidate will play a critical role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and be the "friendly face of the hotel" who greet guests and ensures that our standards are achieved. This individual is the first point of contact for our guests, and as such, will often determine the overall experience that the guest has within our facility.

Main Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with an upbeat attitude, and foster positive relationships between guests and hotel
  • Light housekeeping
  • Help drive sales, by learning about the hotel's amenities and "selling" the hotel to guests and potential guests
  • Will have a willingness to learn and uphold the service standards of the Copper River Inn
  • Listen to guest feedback, and determine solutions or report to Management team as needed
  • Process transactions (cash, credit or debit card), and provide change as needed
  • Will have basic mathematical skills, and be able to balance at the end of shifts
  • Willingness to provide recommendations to guests for things to do in Fort Frances, and have the ability to answer questions about the area
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and the management team to ensure that maintenance issues are recorded, and information is properly relayed

Additional Requirements

  • Outgoing and positive personality
  • Overnight availability is a must
  • Computer skills, with attention to detail to ensure that information is properly recorded
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and physical stamina, ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to follow direction and read instructions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot
  • Full availability with reliable transportation
  • Team player who an work independently and as part of a team
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Exception time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
