FIREFLY, in partnership with Kenora Chiefs Advisory, is seeking a temporary full time Secretary to work in our Kenora office to support the work of clinicians serving the First Nation Communities in the Kenora District. Reporting to the Executive Assistant, the FIREFLY Kenora team secretary provides clerical, receptionist and administrative support to several programs within our office. We are seeking a highly skilled individual who is flexible, well organized and efficient, enjoys varied work responsibilities and can work as part of a team.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
data entry and uploading to the FIREFLY electronic client information system(s) and management of client files
note taking and production of minutes
office supplies inventory
sorting and distribution of incoming/outgoing mail and other deliveries
troubleshooting and arranging maintenance of office equipment
Qualifications:
Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience providing support in a professional office setting
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Outlook, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint)
Understanding of the Ojibway Culture, First Nation Communities and language is a definite asset.
The following qualification(s) would be considered an asset:
Experience providing administrative support in a clinical setting
Knowledge of SharePoint
Fluency in French
Start Date: To be determined
Salary Range: $36,662 - $45,089 per year
