Reporting to the Program Manager, the Diabetes Footcare Nurse will require the provision of Diabetic footcare services, as well as education and health promotion teaching around the management of Diabetes. The Diabetes Footcare Nurse will work as part of the Diabetes team, assisting patients with Diabetes with self-management and proper footcare. Other duties include community based footcare clinics and teaching, statistical reporting, consultation with other health care providers, and facilitate referrals to Chiropodist or other Orthopedic specialist, as required.
