Job Description: 

Requirements:

  • Fluent Ojibwe speaker
  • Teaching qualifications, or experience working with children in a school setting would be an asset, but not necessary.
  • Enjoys working with students from kindergarten to Grade 8
  • Strong ability to collaborate with and create strong working relationships with classroom teachers.
  • Strong commitment to helping others learn the language.
  • Must be willing to provide a vulnerable sector check.
  • Must have a valid Social Insurance Number and legally entitled to work in Canada under relevant legislation
