Operating Philosophy The overall philosophy of the Ganawendaasowin Treatment Program is reflected in the belief among the Ojibway that a child is a gift from the Great Spirit and that we were given the responsibility to raise and care for the child. The Centre's services and procedures are predicated on two key commitments: *To promote the greaterresponsibility and competence of the young person in different areas of functioning(cultural, emotional, interpersonal, social, ect.) *To promote greater responsibility for, and involvement with, the adolescent by his/her family.
